Review:
I have read Sky Key in Dutch, so it is possible that some names of events are different in English.

Sky Key is the second novel in the Endgame trilogy written by James Frey and Nils Johnson-Shelton. It starts right were we left of in the first novel Endgame. Sarah has found the Earthkey and has started the Moment.

First of all, i Realy and i mean Realy do not like the writing style that James Frey uses. Also the different langueges for locations and the specific details about how far a Player is away from surtan things.. It drives me crazy and it doesn't read well.

The plot although is good, the story has a good background and you want to know more about the world. You have a favorite player who you are routing for, you have players you hate and you just want them to die. I was really disappointed when i discoverd that Chiyoko had died and not An. It felt like the writters had decided that killing An would not benifit the story so they brought him back. And i think that was a good choice to bring him back. He has such a good story, he brings the fun to the story of the other players.

I also liked the relationship between Jago and Sarah. Sarah was really heartbroken by the death of Christopher, but with Jago she could forget what she had done. Jago also seems to care about her, which i really like. The are a real power couple.

But when i was reading this book, at a some point i felt bored and didn't feel like reading the book. It was to much of the same sometimes. The stories of some characters didn't get me so much as the others did. Like the story line of Aisling, it felt a little bit childish.. i know it sounds weird, but it didn't really make sence to me. It felt a bit forced, like they needed to make the story line of Aisling a bit more interesting and decided to get the CIA and the goverment involt.

It wasn't a a great read, but is was entertaining. I will read the next book when it is released. Overall 3/5 Stars.

Love, Hedi
