Goodreads summary:
When Eadlyn became the first princess of Illéa to hold her own Selection, she didn’t think she would fall in love with any of her thirty-five suitors. She spent the first few weeks of the competition counting down the days until she could send them all home. But as events at the palace force Eadlyn even further into the spotlight, she realizes that she might not be content remaining alone.

Eadlyn still isn’t sure she’ll find the fairytale ending her parents did twenty years ago. But sometimes the heart has a way of surprising you…and soon Eadlyn must make a choice that feels more impossible—and more important—than she ever imagined.

Review:
The Crown is the 5th book in the selection series, after America's storyline her daughter will take over and you will follow her story and her own selection. The story takes off where it left of in 'The Princess'. Eadlyn has to take over the leading role and has to grow up really quickly. But i have to say, it was like Kiera wanted to quickly finish the story and just be done with it.. It felt very rushed and it was predictible. I knew from the start which person she was going to chose to be her husband. The writing however was just how i liked it, it was fast pasted and fun.

Characters, well.. there wasn't much to them. It felt very rushed because very early into the book already 2 cadidates were eliminated and send home. Still till the end of the book i felt like i didn't know some characters. They were plain and only just a name in the story to fill it up. I was very dissapionted, the characters in the previous book had so much more background and depht. It really wasn't there in this book.

As for the Plot, the same as the whole story.. it was rushed and not really complete. Sure the story had a good end and all but it wasn't for me. I dont know how many times i can say it but it was so soooo rushed. It was like Eadlyn had to pick right now on the spot, eany meany mo, uhh i pick you. There were now feelings, untill the end it was flat. I had expected so much more from this last book, but i gues it wasn't in it.
It was OKE, but not good.
