Goodreads summary:
All Harry Potter wants is to get away from the Dursleys and go back to Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. But just as he's packing his bags, Harry receives a warning from a strange, impish creature named Dobby - who says that if Harry Potter returns to Hogwarts, disaster will strike.

And strike it does. For in Harry's second year at Hogwarts, fresh torments and horrors arise, including an outrageously stuck-up new professor, Gilderoy Lockheart, a spirit named Moaning Myrtle who haunts the girls' bathroom, and the unwanted attentions of Ron Weasley's younger sister, Ginny.

But each of these seem minor annoyances when the real trouble begins, and someone--or something--starts turning Hogwarts students to stone. Could it be Draco Malfoy, a more poisonous rival than ever? Could it possibly be Hagrid, whose mysterious past is finally told? Or could it be the one everyone at Hogwarts most suspects... Harry Potter himself.

Review:
YASS ! I was so happy when i finally had the chance to read another Harry Potter book, i really regret not reading them sooner. From the very first sentece i was swept in again and i couldn't let go. I really like to read all the thing that weren't in the movie, simply because i will be suprised when something happends that i didn't see coming.

Harry as always was amazing, so witty and sassy. I loved how he grew as a character over the coarse of these 2 books. You really she a difference between Harry from the first book and the second. Hermoine and Ron were as always amazing as well, i liked the little twist and turns that the book had for them that the movie didn't.

I liked that in this book there were new characters introduced, eventhough they weren't the main characters, they added a lot of new perspectives of the happenings at the school. Why they thought Harry was the heir of Slytherin and all that kind of stuff. I also never knew that Flinch didn't have any magicpowers, i learn so much reading this book haha. Also i liked Lockhart in the book less than in the movie, but i think that is the point. In the book he was even more annoying than in the movie.

The writing as always was fast past and i flew throw the book, i didn't have much time to read, but when i did i made so much progress. Her writingstyle is very good and pleasing for my taste. Cant wait to get my hands on the next one, which wil me arriving shortly!

Very good book, totally deserving of 5 stars!

Love, Hedi
